Ocean Universal in Cairns carries a large spearfishing inventory. That's no accident — the shop traded as Spearfishing Superstore, so that side of things is in the DNA.
In stock you'll find rail spearguns, camo wetsuits, carbon and fibreglass fins, low-volume masks, weight belts, floats, dive knives, and spearfishing accessories. Gear is picked for tropical spearfishing — not temperate stock that doesn't suit FNQ.
They became Ocean Universal because the shop had already started stocking scuba and freediving equipment over the years. But the spearfishing range wasn't scaled down. Spearfishing is still the backbone of the business.
